If the player chooses to play in single player mode, they must play through battles, which vary depending on which Gundam they pick. There are a few Second generation Gundams as well (Wing Zeron & Epyon). Fans of the anime will love this game as the five original Gundams are featured Wing, Scythe, Heavy Arms, Shenlong, Sand Rock and Death are all parts of this game. There are the Space Colony Gundams, or the Earth's Romefeller Foundation Army.
Players can choose from a variety of Gundam suits and their pilots from one of two factions. The gundam is operated by a pilot who sits inside of it, much like they would an airplane or car.
